We have several local dive sites that work well for training or pleasure dives. Our local dive sites are great for those who easily get sea sick. We often use local sites for navigation training, and drift dives. Night dives in the estuary can be an exciting change from normal dives during the daylight hours.
1770 Estuary
The 1770 Estuary makes for a great training or drift diving site. With close parking and easy entry/exits the estuary is a great local dive. You will find soft corals and heaps of local fish life including: Barracuda, Trevally, Flathead, Nudibranchs, Queenfish, Estuarine Cod, Mangrove Jack, Baramundi, Tarpon, Bream, and Snub Nosed Dart...Just to name a few |
